Providing hope and encouragement to kids battling cancer

There isn't much that's more heartbreaking that the thought of a young child facing a life-threatening illness. I've had the opportunity to visit hospitals with athletes, attend MLB games with pediatric cancer families. Witnessing the impact that sports can bring to these families is incredible. Seeing NFL platers cry because the experience was so overwhelming and meaningful is something that I won't forget. Letting these kids know that they aren't forgotten and that many people love them and pray for them is so important. I'm proud to advocate for couple of really amazing organizations that use sports as a way to provide hope and encouragement to the kids.
